Inspections are conducted by state licensed
Registered Sanitarians.
Our septic inspection checks to make sure
that the system on the property is
functioning correctly as it was designed.

Approval or failure of the system is
normally the same day of inspection. In some
instances the system must be dye tested and
approval or failure might not occur until
24-48 hours after the initial test.
Benchmark Labs is FHA & VA approved.
What we do: Scope and Limitation of the
Inspection
The Inspector will perform a limited visual
inspection and, if applicable, a dye test of
the sewage disposal system of the property
to identify major defects, deficiencies, and
the general functioning of the onsite sewage
disposal system, its components and
equipment.
We will only inspect areas that are
visibly accessible, no digging will be done.
Each inspection is unique; therefore our
scope and limitation will be tailored to
each inspection.
The opinion of Benchmark Labs regarding the
system applies only to the date and time of
the inspection.
The final report will show the scope and
limitation of the inspection.
